It is with deep regrest that i have to inform you, our valued customers that Hangtime Ltd has ceased trading due to insolvency.  Following a terrible 3 years trading during the current recession we have simply been unadble to make enough money to pay suppliers, pay for overheads, re-stock and continue to teach kitesports with our full and proper insurances and equipment.

The reality is that current times are extremely hard for all business' and a small kite store such as ours really had very little chance of survival despite us supporting the business by injecting new capital.  Eventually we had to make a very difficult descision to cease trading and enter into voluntary insolvency.

My biggest regrest and shame is for people who have purchased Vouchers from us for lessons but i am assured by the insolvency practitioners that if you paid by credit card you will be able to gain a refund as the product is insured.  Whilst i would love to still teach those of you who have valid vouchers the reality is that we do not now have the insurance, infrastructure and equipoment to teach you.

I will however continue to teach through Fleetwood Kite Club but not for profit and purley on a voluntary basis.

I realise that there will be some people who will be justifiably upset with our descision but the reality is that we could not afford to continue the business and i hope that people will understand our descision and actions.  We have enjoyed greatly the Fleetwood Beach and lancashire coastline and wish you all the happiest of times in the future.
